Inner Revolution at the Vic! Yes! I was there! That was where Adrian introduced Rob as the "Twang Bar Queen". It was the funny.

  21. back@Timmy

I remember! Fetters looked genuinely annoyed at that, actually.

I'll never forget: He opened with the title track and the place was the so very electric, the guitar sound perrrfect! When he came to the refrain the first time and did a little shimmy for "shake it up, baby!" - dunce that I am, the Beatles connection finally sunk in.

One of the best shows I've seen.

  22. Thank you ABPT and Saul for a lovely show at the Southgate House (my first visit) - and shame on all you 'naughty boys' and bad, bad girls who missed it. Adrian, LOVED your soloing in "E", and the doppler siren at the end of "Thela" has given me chronic gooseflesh! Catch this band, people, if you can.

  23. Please say that you'll be adding more shows to the tour! Please?

  24. Last night was brilliant, thanks... best concert I've seen in years. There weren't many of us, but we were the lucky few. Kudos to Saul as well, great set.

  25. That was awesome! Hot, but awesome. Thanks for the extra encore. Incredible audience response.

I'm supposed to be at work in seven hours. Woops. I just had to e-mail my boss that I'll be in late.

  27. Thanks for the show at St Louis! The entire trio was amazing as usual!

  28. What Brent said, and more... Adrian had the ghost of Robert's machinery on that first one (query Mr. Fripp upon his Duck Room solo show) - serendipity.

Saul, we'll sing the next time, promise. Splendidly honourable Red Cross gesture; hope for us all yet.

    Safe travels, enjoy the "Revolution."

  29. I sure wish you guys would add a Baltimore show. We hiked down to Jammin' Java to see you last year. What an incredible show that was! Wonderful music, virtuosity, and and such positive energy.

  30. The recorded music played between sets and at the end was a nice touch to a brilliant show!

    See you again at Riverbend,

  32. Hello Adrian,Julie, and Eric. I was in attendance at the SGH on the 15th. Wow, the trio is sooo tight. You kind of remind me of another famous trio whose concerts were also an "Experience". Thanks for sharing your wild music with us.

  33. Absolutely great show on the 15th. I’m enjoying these trio shows even more than recent Crimson gigs, never thought I’d say that! Can’t wait for e to be released.

  34. Enjoyed the show Thursday night, but I'm sick to death of having to deal with GA at The Duck Room, packed in like sardines, rude people shoving, non-functional AC. I wish you'd play three blocks down at The Pageant sometime so I can buy a ticket, show up, and see the show without it being some kind of lottery / contest of wills.

  35. Saw the Chicago Show last night.

The "e" stuff blew me away!

Can't wait to get the CD.

  37. My friend Scott and I saw the show at Shank Hall. He turned to me halfway thru the show and said: "Three quarters of this is garage band quality". Spot-on. Adrian's music these days is best described as "Wall Of Noise". There's no rhyme or reason that a person of Adrian's musical quality should play such uninspiring slop. Is he out of ideas? Adrian used to overcome me with joy. I'm sorry to be so critical, really, but there's a huge void there now. We both hated the show.

  38. Hi, Scott here. First off, I wish to tell Adrian that his music has brought me (as well as my concert-going friend Marcus) much enjoyment thru the many years. Thanks much Adrian! Next, I need to give props to Julie and Eric as they are truly very talented young artists and it was a pleasure to watch them work their skills. I am sure they have a very bright future ahead. They all really appeared to be having a great time during the performance which was cool. Despite all of the talent and fun of the show, I would unfortunately rate the concert a 5/10. One of my problems with the show was that it was definetly way too loud. I actually had to hold my ears shut a few times. Marcus left with a headache and my ringing ears finally recovered by Sunday. We had purposely sat more towards the back of the venue to avoid speaker burn but after visiting near stage on a bathroom trip, I found that the only safe place was outside the speaker projection angle. There you could actually clearly hear Adrian's fretboard work because it wasn't struggling to get past all of the other noise. In all fairness, much of the "wall of noise" mentioned in Marcus' previous post might be attributed to the venue but I suspect a good portion of the problem was just the volume. When Belew wasn't shredding, or when he was just playing fill, it at times sounded like a band in a garage where the sound is all muddied...and they play too loud to really make out how much talent is really there. There were some wonderful shining moments at various times however which leads me to believe that the upcoming release by the Power Trio is gonna be worth picking up. I did like the guitar work on "E". I do not question the talent of these musicians, especially AB but shouldn't the talent be louder than the volume? One more thing, most of the crowd were anxious to here a King Crimson song and the band did manage to play Thela Hun Ginjeet for the encore. Most of the solo wasn't reminiscent of the original and ruined my nostalgia for the song. I myself was hoping to here a KC song...even as I walked out the door during the encore.
