those mags are fab. i don't think its any great loss..It might have been "fun"for you, because you love the Beatles- but those tribute bands are creepy, I think.Continue on your obvious path... Better someone spends their time with the original, (also in your case!) not that you asked for my opinion.
I agree that it's best you persue your own unique path that has served you well. Although I would LOVE to hear you do an entire album or concert of your favorite Beatles numbers. When I saw you in Chicago (in '93?) at the Cubby Bear doing an acoustic show you had just got done doing Across the Universe and we were going wild! You said something like "Don't get me started or we'll be here all night!" Like we would have minded! Looking forward to seeing the power trio this April!
Maybe a Long Players show doing a Beatles Album would be a good compromise. I am thinking Revolver or the White Album. You know Bill Lloyd would be up for it.
